Billy's Balloon & comedic timing

in the animated short film by Don Hertzfeldt we follow billy and his ballon sitting on the grass as billy shakes his rattle/ as he does (following the rule of 3's in comedy) on the third set of shakes the ballon aniamtes to hit billy on the head with a around 3 or so less frames on the impact of the hid making it fast like a quick slap to knock it off. as bill stops the balloon however becomes relentless. the balloon starts chasing billy around hitting him non stop. the ballon pauses as a larger presumably adult stick figure passes by and then proceeds with the beating. strangling him with its string and bring hime up to air to drop him. when he does so billy drops super fast hitting the ground off screen whilst the ballon slow descending down frame add the comedic level. repeating this several times we get to the most played part of the video, the part where in the background another kid being dangled in the air by a yellow balloon ballon is lifted up into the air and waves at billy was a plane quickly flying right into the other kid. after a quick cut to black we transition to multiple kids being attacked by balloons in the same manner the that billy has been.
