Favorite Character: Asa Mitaka (chainsaw man)

For background on the character/setting; in the world of chainsaw man, devils are born from human fears both manmade and primal. anything can be a devil including concepts like war. after a near death experience Asa makes a contract with the war devil for in exchange of partial control over her body/consciousness should would reborn.

whist's the War devils goal revolve around the titular character chainsaw man and the surrounding setting, Asa is a normal teenage girl. previously she was bitter, resentful, and envious of her peers and class mates. in her own mind shed scoff at any form of public affection and judged the actions of other from afar. this stemmed from her feelings of loneliness and isolation living along after the passing of her mother. after a incident involving the death of 'Bucky' the class mascot and the chicken devil in which Asa tripped, fell and killed Bucky she isolated her self in her room and contemplated about what had transpired.

Falling is a common throughline with her character although smart and careful at multiple important moments in her life she's tripped and fell either at school events, trying to save someone's life leading to embarrassment and ostracization and self doubt. in a later story arc an interaction with the falling devil whose abilities causes self doubt regret to manifest and falling upwards towards the sky. going in and out of control with the war devil via emotional instability.

her relationship with the war devil within her also develops into a symbiotic relationship in which their thoughts and feels being to meld. particular Asa affection towards other characters are also felt and expressed outwardly when the war devil is in control of her body.
